About Paul
“In October last year I was looking for a new challenge for myself, one that would push me physically and mentally to the limit. After playing with a few ideas I came up with the idea of swimming down the River Vltava and to connect it with raising money for charity. I realise how fortunate I am to have a fit and able body and mind, so I decided that the money raised should go to those not as lucky as me. I really like the work that Asistence does and that’s why I’ve chosen to raise money for this charity. I’ve always been a keen sportsman but this will be by far the toughest physical challenge I’ve ever faced. However, I’ve been fastidiously preparing since October and I’m totally committed to succeeding. Cross your fingers for me!” Paul Whitaker
