Vltava Asistence 2010 - Paul Whitaker will swim 175km down the River Vltava from České Budějovice to Prague in the summer of 2010 for the charity Asistence o.s.

The goals of this project

To swim 175km in 20 days in the River Vltava
To raise as much money as possible for the charity Asistence o.s.
To increase awareness of the needs of people with physical and multiple disabilities
To increase awareness of Asistence o.s.
To show what a normal person can achieve with will and determination in an attempt to motivate others

Paul

Paul Whitaker is a keen sportsman, but by no means an elite athlete. Nevertheless, in October 2009 he set himself the daunting challenge of swimming from České Budějovice (28.6) to Prague (17.7) in the summer of 2010 as a way of pushing himself to his limits and doing some good for others at the same time.
